
Mission
UOMA NL’s mission is to manage an economically, environmentally and socially efficient and responsible collection, processing and user awareness program for used oils, used glycol (antifreeze), used oil and glycol (antifreeze) containers with a capacity of 50 litres or less (including used lubricant aerosol and brake cleaner containers) and used filters, on behalf of its members.
UOMA NL’s activities are governed by the Regulation and by its stewardship plan approved by the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board and must be subject to detailed reports to its members and to the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board.
Who are we?

- Officially implemented on October 1st, 2019, UOMA NL represents a group of companies that sell the products designated by our program.
- Over 137 members provide financial support to the UOMA NL network consisting of more than 137 collection facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
- UOMA NL is managed by a Board of Directors elected or designated, from among the members with or without the right to vote, as stipulated in the General By-Laws.
- Continuity will be assured by the presence of general manager, Mr. Jean Duchesneau.
